Registration Dates & Times:  

• Wednesday, Sept. 27: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. 
• Thursday, Sept. 28: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. 
• Friday, Sept. 29: 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. 

Registration Location: Magic Box LA lobby 

ADS Badges 

Your name badge will be issued at registration and is required for admission to all events. 

No Weapons Policy

Weapons of any sort are prohibited in the venue, as referenced in the Code of Conduct presented when you registered for the conference. 

Luggage Storage 

If you’re unable to drop off your luggage prior to arriving at Magic Box LA or need to store luggage on the last day of the Summit, you can store it in the coat check area, located on the first floor in the Impact Lounge. 

Book Signings

There are a few remaining tickets available for book signings with Danielle Allen (Justice by Means of Democracy, 2023) and Andrew Yang (The Last Election, 2023, or Forward: Notes on the Future of our Democracy, 2021 – you choose!). You can reserve your spot on our website, or speak with staff at check-in in case tickets are still available. 

Off-Site Event 

Join a special event on Thursday, September 28, 2:00-5:00 p.m., on the campus of the University of Southern California, to explore entertainment’s potential to strengthen America’s social fabric and create a shared sense of “us” as Americans. Hosted by the USC Dornsife Center for the Political Future and Bridge Entertainment Labs.

There’s no additional cost – your ADS registration secures your spot! A free shuttle bus is available on Thursday at 1:30pm to transport ADS guests to USC; the bus will return guests to ADS by 5:15pm. View more information and a link to register on the Summit Program Overview page.

Food at ADS

In the ADS Cafe you’ll find light breakfast fare each morning starting at 8am, and beverages all day. Lunch trucks will offer a range of options from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m., and you’ll be able to pre-order using the event app. Light appetizers and sweets will be provided during the Opening Night Reception on Wednesday and the ADS Live Reception on Thursday. Beverages will be available for purchase at the cash bar for each event (for those age 21 and over).
