Mike Alfoni is the Executive Director and co-founder of Oregon Ranked Choice Voting, the first group in the nation to get a legislature to pass statewide RCV. He has worked on election reforms from coast-to-coast and was an early adopter of RCV among political professionals. Before working on non-partisan democracy reform, Mike has worked on over 100 political campaigns, including 19 successful ballot measures (out of 20).

Outside of politics Mike has run a business incubator for small Oregon manufacturers, consulted for the largest employers in Oregon on the future of technology, and designed programs that engaged public school students outside the classroom in science, technology, engineering, and math with hands-on, real-world projects. When not busy winning democracy reforms Mike is avidly losing cycling races – or producing woodworking of questionable quality.
