Laura is an attorney, former law clerk to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, mother of two young adults, and an activist for youth voting rights. An award-winning advocate with more than two decades of experience working on complex legal issues and advocating for voting rights and for the LGBTQ+ community, she launched The Civics Center in 2018 to stop youth voter suppression and tackle the decades-old problem of low youth turnout. The Civics Center is a project of Community Partners, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization.
