Sam Liebert

WI State Director, All Voting Is Local

Before joining All Voting, Liebert was the clerk-treasurer for the village of Shorewood Hills, Wisconsin. Liebert has also served in similar capacities for the village of Sussex, WI and the city of Monroe, WI.

Liebert previously served three terms on his hometown’s city council of Janesville, WI as an at-large member, representing 64,000 of his fellow residents. He was elected in 2011 and left office in 2017 as city council president. Before returning home to run for office, Liebert worked for several elected officials and their campaigns across the country: President Barack Obama, Senator Russ Feingold, Senator Sherrod Brown, Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack, and Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, to name a few.

Liebert lives in Pewaukee, Wisconsin with his wife, two daughters, and son. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy and Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and gradated with a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in May of 2023. He is also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Municipal Clerks & Treasurers Institute.
