Jake Kasdan is a renowned director who comes from a family of writers and directors. As a child, he made appearances in his father’s movies, including The Big Chill and Silverado. Jake Kasdan has gone on to helm several notable films, such as Zero Effect, Orange County, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, Bad Teacher, Sex Tape, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, and Jumanji: The Next Level

In addition to his film work, Kasdan collaborated with Judd Apatow on cult classics Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared. He was also executive producer of the show New Girl. Kasdan was nominated for a Grammy and Golden Globe for Best Original Song for Walk Hard. Kasdan is married to The Bird and the Bee singer-songwriter Inara George. Together they have three children, including twins.
