Brad Raffensperger is the current Georgia Secretary of State who first rose to national prominence following the 2020 presidential elections. A lifelong conservative, Secretary Raffensperger stood firmly in defense of the Constitution and American democracy despite immense pressure from members of his own party, and even the President of the United States. Following this, he was overwhelmingly re-elected in 2022.
A licensed Professional Engineer and Structural Engineer, Raffensperger moved to Georgia with his high school sweetheart Tricia 40 years ago to raise a family and start a small business. Under Raffensperger’s ownership Tendon Systems grew to become the southeast’s largest post-tensioning specialist contractor with approximately 150 employees and projects in over 40 states. He served two terms in the Georgia House of Representatives before first becoming elected Georgia Secretary of State in 2018.
